September 22, 2008 (Sawf News) – Hrithik Roshan has been in the US for more than a month, shooting for his home production Kites, and being away from him family for so long has understandably taken its toll on the young man.

Feeling extremely ‘homesick’, he has summoned the wife and kids to Las Vegas where he is presently shooting.

Papa Rakesh Roshan has been with Hrithik during the past month but we suspect it is a different void that Hrithik seeks to fill, and if you see a pun there blame it on the impropriety of your imagination, not our editorial policies.

A source close to Hrithik told us, “His shooting stint was supposed to get over by September end but due to the disruption caused by hurricane Ike in New Mexico, the unit lost 15 days and the shooting schedule had to be extended to October 15.”

“Hrithik had already begun to miss his family a lot, especially his kids. He expressed his desire to get them to Las Vegas and Roshan Sr. arranged for the tickets immediately. Last week, his wife Suzanne along with both their kids flew to Las Vegas to join Hrithik.” the source added.

“On Saturday, Hrithik hosted a special get together dinner with his wife and selective cast and crew members in his hotel suite in Las Vegas.” the source concluded.

There have been reports that Hrithik’s sizzling chemistry with Brazilian co-star Barbara Mori, on and off set, has alarmed Papa Roshan, even though Kites director Anurag Basu felt it was very good for the film.

Budgeted at Rs 60 crore, Kites is slated for release in May 2009 with one more major shooting schedule planned in India from November.
