May 08, 2009, (Sawf News) – Gul Panag looked effortlessly chic at the book reading of Varon BK Sharma’s book, Assasination of George Bush, at Crossword, Juhu, Mumbai on Thursday, May 7.

The 30-year-old Bollywood charmer kept us on our seat’s edge, allowing her golden lingerie to peep through her white satin tank top with lace inset, paired with blue jeans. She accessorized with yellow gold chandelier earrings, a steel bangle in her right arm and a chunky white stone ring in her left hand ring finger.

She had styled her short hair, almost the length of a bob now, with peek-a-boo bangs; and wore light pink lipstick and pink blush. She rounded up her looks with fuchsia nails.

Other celebrities at the event included Mahesh Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Ashok Pandit and Suchitra Pillai

Since most of the book readers had read the book, they started discussing its explosive contents; it deals with the global Islamic terrorism. The discussion became heated between Gul Panag, Mahesh Bhatt and Ashok Pandit over why there are less muslims in the Indian Military. Gul Panag is an army kid herself and Ashok Pandit is a Kashmiri who had to abandon his home in Kashmir. This led to Crossword officials hurriedly ending the meet.
